Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Neuro Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • 36 guaranteed hours per week • Weekend hours as needed with expectation of every other full weekend • No call requirements • Float within scope as needed • Minimum 1 year inpatient acute care experience in Med Surg and Neuro required • Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS • Patient ratios of 1:5-6 • Must be willing to occasionally take charge responsibilities • Work with neurosurgical patients including stroke, seizures, MS, back/head/spinal and other neurological diagnoses • Use EPIC electronic medical record system • FIT test required on site • Black scrubs required • Expected to work at least one major winter holiday • Up to 5 days time off can be automatically approved per 13-week period Facility: This healthcare facility has been serving the St. Louis region for over 150 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care on a centrally located campus.
