Opportunity: CT Technologist - CT Tech Job Details: • Work 8-hour shifts Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM • No on-call responsibilities required • Perform technical CT scan procedures under direction of Medical Director, Section Head, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist • Create diagnostic images for patients in fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment • Scan trauma and emergency room patients, outpatients, inpatients (stable and intensive care), research patients, and specialized CT scan-guided procedures • Must be graduate of approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and high school graduate • New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice required • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration required • Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer certification required • Entry level position with limited or no experience accepted • Practice and enforce radiation safety measures per New York State Department of Health code part 16 • Support teaching and continue learning as technology advances • Provide patients with safe and positive imaging experience Facility: This academic medical center operates as a Level I Trauma facility providing comprehensive healthcare services to the region.
