Travel Nurse Job Details Location: Springfield, Tennessee (Zip: 37172) Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Job Start Date: October 7, 2025 End Date: January 27, 2026 Duration: 16 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Hours per Week: 36 Positions Available: 2 Bed Capacity: Up to 10 Patient Ratios: 1:3–1:6 Equipment: GE Monitors Documentation System: CPN Staffing: 1 RN per shift, with 24/7 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) coverage Estimated Weekly Salary Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,780 - $1,910 per week Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Tennessee or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent Level 2 Labor & Delivery nursing experience Postpartum nursing experience preferred Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE Clinical skills: IV initiation, phototherapy, bubble CPAP maintenance, tube feeding, NAS care, preterm infant care, NRP proficiency L&D Nurse Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to laboring mothers and newborns in a Level 2 L&D unit Monitor patients using GE Monitors and accurately document care in the CPN system Perform advanced clinical procedures: IV initiation, phototherapy, bubble CPAP maintenance, tube feeding, NAS and preterm baby care Assist with lumbar punctures, circumcisions, IV medication administration, and support Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) with specialized procedures Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment for patients and their families Discover the charm of Springfield, TN, and take the next step in your travel nursing career.
