Key Job Details – OR RN Travel Contract Location: Bridgeport, Connecticut (06606) Healthcare Setting: Operating Room – General Surgery Job Type: Travel Nursing Contract Start Date: December 1, 2025 End Date: March 1, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Hours: 40 hours Shift: 8-hour day shifts (5x8s); up to 30% evening shifts (2:30pm – 11:00pm) as needed Call Requirement: Up to 6 weeknight and 6 weekend calls per 6-week period Holiday/Weekend Coverage: As needed Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,500 - $2,560 per week Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience Experience with trauma, orthopedic, spine, and neuro surgical cases preferred Travel nursing experience preferred Proficiency with EPIC, Surgicount, and TECSYS systems preferred BLS certification required OR RN Responsibilities Deliver skilled perioperative nursing care for trauma, orthopedic, spine, and neuro surgeries Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to achieve optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC and hospital systems Participate in call rotation and provide coverage for holidays and weekends Promote a safe, efficient operating room environment by following best practices and hospital protocols Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Bridgeport, Connecticut!
