Warehouse Associate

Job Description Job Description Will train and work as a temp in San Clemente, but will need to transfer to Aliso Viejo upon conversion to a full time employee. About the job: Oversee all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation, ERP transactions, and compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations. This role includes coaching warehouse staff, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining an organized and efficient shipping area. We’re looking for someone who: • Has 6 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations (3 years for Level I) • Is detail-oriented and accurate with ERP transactions and documentation • Understands import/export compliance procedures and shipping regulations • Communicates clearly and works well with internal teams and external vendors • Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems • Has experience using FedEx, UPS, OHL, or other shipping platforms • (Preferred) Is forklift certified or willing to be trained What you’ll do: • Lead daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment • Process and document shipments of inventory and non-inventory items in the ERP system • Track shipments and deliveries using carrier software (UPS, OHL, FedEx) • Coordinate shipments for sterilization, testing, and subcontracted services • Follow import/export compliance procedures using the Automated Export System (AES) • Screen shipments according to U.S. Government export regulations and MK Data Denial List • Receive and inspect incoming packages, ensuring accuracy and completeness of paperwork • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and material stock levels • Coach and support warehouse personnel in shipping and receiving processes • Order and manage shipping materials to meet daily and long-term operational needs • Optimize finished goods layout for safety, efficiency, and ergonomic handling • Assist with cycle counting, inventory control, and ERP process improvements • Support facility coordination and minor janitorial duties as needed Company Description SlingShot Connections provides contract staffing, direct hire placement, executive search recruitment, payroll services, and customized staffing solutions for numerous verticals, including accounting & finance, hospitality, human resources, and many more.
