Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/01/2025 Duration: 16 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, flexible Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: CT Technologist - CT Tech Job Details: • Perform technical radiographic assignments with complex skills and knowledge of radiologic technology principles • Operate radiographic, CT, image processors and related equipment across different modalities with accuracy • Evaluate images for quality and demonstrate accurate positioning based on procedure guidelines • Provide clear instructions during procedures to calm patients and relieve stress • Maintain competency in two specific modalities • Ensure proper radiation protection for self, patients and personnel using collimation, lead shielding and appropriate techniques • Demonstrate flexibility in assuming emergency call on weekdays, weekends and holidays in addition to routine hours • Demonstrate competency in RIS and PACS systems for entering/editing patient exams and charges • Perform radiographic and CT studies with/without IV contrast enhancement including brain, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, spine, facial, and extremities • Follow NYSDOH Part 16 guidelines and perform required QC activities • Operate portable diagnostic radiographic equipment where needed • Perform infection control according to Universal Precautions • Provide care to infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients • Required certifications: NYS License, BLS, ARRT • OR C-Arm experience required (minimum 1 year) • Must have CT and Rad Tech experience • Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens reasonably anticipated Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center providing advanced diagnostic imaging services to the community.
