Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Neuro Job Details: • Must be available for 1/5 start date • Work on general medical surgical floor that is also stroke and neuro designated unit • Patient ratio of 5:1 • Work with remote tele equipment and Meditech EMR system • Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 3 techs, 1 unit secretary at max capacity • Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 1 tech, 1 unit secretary at max capacity • Unit capacity of 34 beds with maximum capacity of 43 patients • BLS certification required • NIH Stroke certification and ACLS preferred • Navy scrubs required for dress code • Must demonstrate upbeat, engaged, and compassionate personality • Work on unit that has received multiple Daisy awards and maintains 850 days CAUTI free status Facility: This healthcare facility features a 2F Med Surg unit located on the second floor of the main hospital building.
