General Manager (Travel)

An established, high-quality travel company is seeking a General Manager to lead its day-to-day operations and play a central role in the next stage of growth. With a loyal guest community and an ambitious growth plan, it’s now looking for an experienced leader to strengthen structure, consistency and performance across the organisation. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role with full responsibility for operational delivery, logistics, customer experience, and team leadership. You’ll work closely with the founder to implement scalable processes, oversee financial performance, and ensure each guest experience reflects the company’s high standards and values. We’re looking for someone with a proven record in operational leadership within travel, leisure or hospitality, ideally gained in an SME or founder-led environment, or an ambitious senior manager from a larger business seeking a broader, more autonomous role. You will combine commercial acumen with warmth, clarity and a people-first approach. This person will be based full time in Edinburgh.
