Approved Electrician Opportunities – Motherwell & Field-Based SJIB Approved Rate | £28/hour (CIS or PAYE) Van, Fuel Card, PPE & Test Equipment Provided Immediate Start | 3-Month Contract (Potential Extension to Dec 2026) Looking for your next challenge? We’re seeking two experienced Approved Electricians to join a growing compliance team, supporting a wide range of industrial and commercial clients across Scotland and Northern England . These field-based roles are ideal for qualified electricians who enjoy variety, independence, and hands-on technical work in different environments. ⚙️ The Roles Role 1 – Industrial Projects (Quarries | Long-Term until Dec 2026) Based across Southern Scotland and Northern England (as far south as the Lake District). Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend work. Hotel accommodation provided (Mon–Thurs) with meal allowance. 40–50 hours/week typical, plenty of overtime available. Role 2 – Commercial Sites (3–6 Month Contract) Monthly compliance visits across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth. Occasional travel to Inverness, Wick, Aberdeen, Oban & Campbeltown. A few overnight stays where required. ️ What You’ll Be Doing Electrical inspection and testing to BS7671 standards Emergency lighting and equipment testing Remedial works following inspection findings Working to client scopes and safety procedures Travelling directly to client sites daily ✅ What You’ll Need NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing 18th Edition (BS7671) AM2 (or equivalent) ECS Card Strong experience in commercial/industrial environments Self-motivated with a proactive attitude What’s in It for You £28/hour (CIS or PAYE) Van, fuel card, PPE & test equipment provided Hotel stays covered with meal allowance Overtime rates: 1.5x / 2x weekends Join an established team with long-term project potential
