IN-HOUSE - COMMERCIAL PROPERTY SOLICITOR - EV Location: West Midlands (hybrid) Salary: Up to £70,000, depending on experience Employment Type: Full-time, permanent About the Opportunity LHH is proud to partner with a leading UK organisation within the leisure and hospitality sector to appoint a Solicitor – Property (EV) to join their dynamic Legal Services Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced legal professional to take a central role in supporting the business’s expanding Electric Vehicle (EV) operations. Working closely with the Director of Legal Services, you’ll provide expert advice, manage property-related projects, draft and negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with evolving EV legislation. Your insight will play a vital role in enabling the business to deliver sustainable growth and continue to lead innovation within its industry. Key Responsibilities Manage a diverse caseload with autonomy and sound professional judgement. Provide clear, pragmatic legal and commercial advice to internal stakeholders. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal and commercial documents. Conduct legal research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of EV and property legislation. Support business development and relationship management initiatives. Collaborate with colleagues and external legal advisors to deliver high-quality outcomes. Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team. Ensure compliance with internal quality and risk management standards. Accurately record time, activity, and progress using the firm’s case management system. About You Qualified Solicitor (Scotland and/or England & Wales) with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE. Strong background in EV law, property, or infrastructure projects. Commercially astute, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Confident working independently while contributing effectively to a team. Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail. Committed to professional integrity, confidentiality, and continuous improvement. Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK. Experience in corporate, commercial, or intellectual property law would be advantageous.
