About the Role As the Assistant Controller, you'll serve as a key deputy to the Controller, overseeing complex financial operations and leading a team of professionals. Your responsibilities will include: Managing functions such as accounts payable, grants compliance, capital assets, general ledger, and financial reporting. Supervising and mentoring staff, ensuring high performance and professional growth. Leading year-end closing, audit preparation, and financial statement development. Driving strategic projects and system improvements across departments. Providing expert financial guidance to leadership and stakeholders. What You Bring as the Assistant Controller: A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred). At least five years of progressive accounting or auditing experience.
