Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Worcester, MA 01605 (Central Massachusetts) Healthcare Setting: Level III/IV NICU Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Start Date: December 2, 2025 End Date: March 3, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Nursing Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary: $2360-$2420 Patient Population: Neonates, Infants Unit Size: 49 beds, daily census ~40 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Massachusetts RN license (or conditional) Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Level III or IV NICU NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification BLS certification (American Heart Association) Proficiency with EPIC charting system Infant Driven Feeding Training preferred Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered) Successful completion of Tele exam during orientation (80% passing score) NICU Nurse Responsibilities Provide comprehensive neonatal nursing care in a high-acuity NICU environment Administer blood products, anti-seizure medications, antibiotics, antivirals, and manage arterial lines Perform APGAR scoring, blood glucose monitoring, and developmental care for neonates Support breastfeeding and breast milk handling for infants Manage advanced respiratory support: bubble CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, ventilators (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP) Care for neonates with complications of prematurity, RDS, TTN, ABO incompatibility, and other conditions Assist with pre- and post-operative care for neonatal surgical interventions (TEF/EA, gastroschisis, omphalocele, g-tube placement) Educate and support patients' families throughout the NICU stay Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: respiratory therapy, radiology, social services Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records Apply now to join our healthcare team as a NICU Registered Nurse in Worcester, Massachusetts!
