Learn more at www.dminc.com About the Opportunity DMI, LLC is seeking a Mid- Level Hardware Support Technician to join us. Duties and Responsibilities: * Perform hardware maintenance and repairs for government-owned and furnished equipment, ensuring compliance with CDC standards and federal property management procedures. * Obtain necessary approvals for non-warranty repairs, coordinating staging, shipping, and installation for warranty and non-warranty repair logistics. * Inspect repaired items to ensure functionality and accuracy, updating ticket information in ServiceNow. * Provide packing and crating services for equipment shipped for vendor repairs and coordinate with OSSAM for secure shipping and handling. * Perform repairs on server hardware, including network file servers, application servers, and database servers, across geographically dispersed CDC data centers. * Adhere to CDC security protocols and promptly report any discrepancies, damages, or irreparable items. Qualifications Education and Years of Experience: * Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or other related field plus 5 -7 years of experience, or * Master of Information Technology or related field plus 3 - 5 years of experience, or * PhD plus 0 - 2 years of experience Min Citizenship Status Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen Physical Requirements: No Physical requirement needed for this position Location: Atlanta, Georgia Working at DMI DMI is a diverse, prosperous, and rewarding place to work.
