Front of House Staff

A busy restaurant in the heart of Geelong is looking for an experienced and reliable person to join out Front of House team Requirements: Proven minimum 1-year work experience as a Waiter or Waitress Basic knowledge of bar operations Basic math skills Attentiveness and patience for customers Excellent presentation skills Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment Active listening and effective communication skills Team spirit Flexibility to work in shifts RSA Responsibilities: Present menu and provide detailed information Set up tables Inform customers about the day’s specials Offer menu recommendations Up-sell additional products when appropriate Take accurate food and drinks orders Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff Serve food and drink orders Deliver checks and collect bill payments Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning Provide excellent customer service to guests Plenty of hours for the right person Job Types: Part-time, Casual Salary: Award rates Work Remotely No Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: From $30.00 per hour Experience: Restaurant front of house: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
