Handy Person (Casual)

We have an opportunity for an experienced Handyperson to join the team, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. This varied role requires you to maintain the building, plant and equipment, fixtures and fittings throughout the hotel to the required standard. You will ensure a pleasant and safe environment for all guests, visitors and employees. The successful applicant will be responsible for: *undertaking general repairs and maintenance as well as preventative maintenance programs throughout the Hotel. This includes basic plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning service and repairs *servicing of plant and general equipment as directed *ensuring all painted areas are maintained and in good order *performing duties relevant to experience and trade as applicable and also perform other maintenance related tasks as required *Assisting other team members in the completion of their duties The successful applicant will have: *Previous experience in a similar role or the ability to demonstrate skills required to be successful in this role *Minimum of 3 years of handyperson or maintenance experience in a similar role *Attention to detail *Excellent customer service skills including fluent written and spoken English *Australian work rights or valid visa to work in Australia This role requires rostered shifts which includes weekdays and weekend work as required.
