This is a hands-on role providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient orthopaedic services. You’ll gain unparalleled exposure to a wide range of trauma, elective, and reconstructive orthopaedic conditions while working closely with specialist surgeons in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality clinical care to inpatients and outpatients within the Orthopaedic Department. Participate in operating theatre lists, including opportunities to perform surgeries under supervision (Registrar level). Supervise junior doctors and contribute to education programs for interns, residents, and medical students. Take part in the on-call roster to support 24/7 service delivery. Engage in research, quality improvement, and peer review activities. Foster a positive, safe, and culturally respectful workplace. About You Registrar Requirements: Eligible for general registration with the Medical Board of Australia. At least 2 years’ postgraduate experience, with exposure to orthopaedics or surgery. Senior Registrar Requirements: Eligible for general registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Minimum 3 years’ relevant postgraduate experience. All Candidates Must Demonstrate: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a cross-cultural environment. A commitment to improving Indigenous health outcomes.
