Disability Support Worker

Are you an experienced disability support worker who is looking for extra shifts close to home? Support Network has numerous opportunities available for support workers in the Maroubra area available immediately! If you are a dedicated and caring support worker with experience in mental health illness experience, then we have a client with shifts available for you! Support workers are currently required for 24/7 Monday to Sunday shifts. To provide support for a male participant living in Maroubra area. Morning, afternoon, evening sleepover shifts are available all through the week - Monday to Sunday. You will be supporting a participant with Schizophrenia illness and experience in these areas will be highly regarded. Shifts will in home support to assist with life skills and self-care, daily living tasks, cooking, cleaning, shopping. Health medication management as per care plan, attend health appointments if needed, monitor and observe client for relapse or becoming unwell. Companionship and Social Connection, provide support and company to help combat isolation and encourage participation in social and leisure activities. Client has requested support staff that are of age 35 years old and above, mature and reliable and understands mental health illness . The successful candidates will be reliable, proactive and caring and will have (or be willing to obtain): Current First Aid and CPR Certificates Police Check NDIS Worker Screening Check NDIS Worker Orientation ABN Reliable car with comprehensive car insurance needed if you transport client Send your CV through today as applications will be reviewed as received!
