Support Worker

We are seeking a caring and reliable Disability Support Worker to assist a teen male participant with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The role focuses on providing safe transport, supporting community access, and encouraging independence in a positive and engaging way. When applying for this role we ask that you please attach a photo of yourself (Clients Request) Hours of Work: Wednesday/Thursdays (Also potentially other days) 12:00pm – 3:30pm Key Responsibilities: Provide safe transport to and from activities. Support community participation and recreation. Encourage independence, confidence, and social engagement. Build a supportive and professional relationship with the participant. About the Participant The participant is easy-going and enjoys working out, playing video games, and drawing. This role suits someone approachable who can share interests and provide positive support. Requirements ABN (Australian Business Number) – required. someone preferably in their 20's Strong English speaking background (Client struggles with accents) Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle. NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain). Working With Children Check. First Aid/CPR certification (preferred). Previous disability support experience is welcome but not essential – training and guidance can be provided. Pay Rate $30 – $40 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications). Why Join Us?
