CrossReach is one of Scotland’s most respected care providers, supporting individuals and families affected by dementia through a network of residential and community services. We are seeking a Dementia Development Co-ordinator to lead the development and delivery of our dementia strategy and to promote best practice across all services. This role is based at our regional office in Bellshill and involves regular travel across Scotland to support staff, review practice and work in partnership with colleagues and external organisations. Main Responsibilities * Lead the implementation of CrossReach’s dementia strategy across services. * Support staff through training, resources and guidance to embed best practice. * Monitor quality and consistency of dementia care and identify areas for improvement. * Work collaboratively with service managers and senior leaders to develop and review policies and procedures. * Build and maintain strong partnerships with external organisations and contribute to national developments in dementia care. * Gather feedback from people who use our services and their families to inform service improvement. About You You will have significant experience in dementia care, including service development and staff support. A thorough understanding of current policy, legislation and best practice is essential, along with strong communication, leadership and organisational skills. You must hold an SVQ Level 4 in Social Care or an equivalent nursing or social work qualification. The ability to work independently, flexibly and collaboratively across multiple locations is essential.
