Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday with on-call responsibilities • 2 years of nursing experience required • Travel experience required • Traveler's permanent residence must be 100 miles or greater from the hospital's service area • 24 hours of orientation including 16 hours of non-billable orientation • General orientation begins on Sundays with online CBLs • Required certification: AHA BLS • Epic charting system experience required • Community hospital experience preferred • Must actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education • Work with patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Extensive OR skills required including laparoscopic procedures, robotic surgery, general surgery procedures, and specialty surgeries • Hospital may cancel one shift biweekly without financial penalty due to census decrease • Must complete drug test within 12-14 calendar days prior to start date • Fit testing required with facial hair trimmed or removed per CDC guidelines • Non-billable modules averaging 4-5 hours completed during orientation Facility: This community hospital provides comprehensive surgical services with advanced technology including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System for robotic procedures.
