Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Experience: Minimum 3 years in Cath Lab License: Not specified Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Minimum of 3 years Cath Lab experience - Critical thinking and ability to work independently - ACLS and BLS certifications Description: Shift Monday through Friday from 07:00 to 15:30 with 10-13 days of on-call time. On-call weekends are every other week. The unit has 98 beds and a staff of 8, including 2 PRN Techs and 1 Shared RN. Currently, there are 2 RNs, 3 full-time Techs, and 2 PRN Techs during the day shift, and a 3-person on-call team at night. Patient ratios are maintained according to unit guidelines. Typical equipment includes Philips, GE, Pyxis, and MacLab EMR - Meditech. Common procedures performed include cardiac catheterizations, TEE/CVNs, pacemaker implants, PVS, EP ablations, PE/DVT thrombectomies, and Lexiscan injections for nuclear medicine stress tests. The ideal candidate will be flexible, patient, and supportive, taking initiative when needed. This facility is known for its small, cohesive team in a community-oriented environment.
