Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/08/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech Job Details: • 1 year of experience required • Community hospital experience required • Call required every 3rd day after 6pm and every 3rd weekend • Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS • NY license must be in hand • Outpatient work setting experience required • EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement • Perform basic ultrasound procedures including OB, Abdominal, DVT, Carotids, Breast • Scan pediatric to adult patients (adolescents, adults, geriatrics) • Common invasive procedures include Thoracenthesis and Paracenthesis • General skills experience with biopsies preferred • Preferred certifications: ARRT-Sonography, RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB, RDMS-BR, RDMS-Peds, RVT • Float assignments required • Must be located more than 50 miles from facility • Pre-start modules required (billable up to 5 hours) • First time travelers accepted Facility: This community hospital provides comprehensive ultrasound services in both outpatient and emergency department settings.
