CDL A - Driver

The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL Class A license and a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism. Responsibilities include transporting goods over long or short distances, maintaining accurate logs, and ensuring timely deliveries in accordance with company and DOT regulations. Key Responsibilities: Operate tractor-trailer combinations and other Class A vehicles in a safe and efficient manner Transport goods to and from customer locations or distribution centers Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition Maintain compliance with all DOT and company regulations and policies Log hours of service, deliveries, and vehicle inspection reports accurately Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members Handle freight loading and unloading when necessary Ensure cargo is secured properly and in compliance with safety standards Requirements: Valid CDL Class A license Clean driving record with no major violations Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred (can adjust as needed) Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. if loading/unloading is required Strong time management and communication skills Flexibility to work weekends or overnights if needed Hotel stay will be provided by the company Hours: 7:30am 5:00pm Salary: $30 per hour
