Job Description Job Description Keys Animal ER at Cruz Animal Hospital is a privately owned, full-service veterinary hospital providing general practice and urgent care during the day and emergency services in the evenings and overnight. As the only 24-hour emergency hospital in the Florida Keys, we serve both local and visiting pet owners with a commitment to high-quality medicine and patient care. We are currently seeking a full-time General Practice Veterinarian to join our team and help us continue providing high-quality primary and assist with urgent care services to our community. Our hospital features: Advanced diagnostics, including digital radiography, ultrasound, IDEXX in-house laboratory, therapeutic k laser, acupuncture and an updated surgical suite that includes plasma scalpel, vessel sealer and HD endoscopy A dedicated dental surgical suite with a doctor on staff specializing in dental procedures A collaborative and skilled support team to assist in providing exceptional patient care including four associate veterinarians, two regular relief veterinarians and a full staff of skilled vet technicians and vet assistants Position Details & Responsibilities Provide comprehensive general practice care, including wellness exams, diagnostics, and medical case management See daytime urgent care cases as needed Perform routine surgical procedures (excluding dental procedures) Collaborate with our experienced support staff to ensure high-quality patient care Maintain detailed and accurate medical records Communicate effectively with clients, providing education on treatment plans and preventive care Compensation & Benefits Competitive Salary discretionary profit-based bonus Comprehensive Benefits Package: Health, dental, and vision insurance (employee coverage fully paid) 401(k) with 3% employer match Paid Time Off (PTO): 120 hours vacation 24 hours sick leave annually Continuing Education Discretionary Fund up to $5,000 Licensing and PLIT paid Work-Life Balance: no overnight or weekend shifts required Employee Discounts Why Join Us?
