Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/01/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Work varied schedule with potential floating requirements to sister site Banner Goldfield based on census and staffing needs • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for patients in PCU setting • Utilize specialized knowledge and judgment to provide age-appropriate care • Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs • Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team • Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other licensed nurses and personnel • Document all assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records • Participate in shared leadership activities and staff education/orientation • Current valid RN license required (state of practice, temporary/interim, or compact licensure) • BLS certification required • Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required • Must have worked in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics • Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations • Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred Facility: This healthcare facility is part of a comprehensive medical center system that provides progressive care unit services with advanced nursing care for patients requiring close monitoring.
