Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/08/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Work in Progressive Care Unit providing general telemetry monitoring and medical patient care • Must float between Boswell and Del Webb campuses as needed, with Boswell as primary campus • Utilize universal bed model for patient care • Varied work schedule with flexible hours • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies • Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs • Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team • Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other licensed nurses and personnel • Document all care activities legibly and timely in patient records • Participate in unit shared leadership and contribute to quality improvement initiatives • Provide patient and family education and evaluate response to teaching • Must possess current valid RN license in state of practice or compact licensure • BLS certification required • Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required • Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months required • Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations • Physical demands include ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics Facility: This medical center operates as part of a comprehensive healthcare network, featuring a Progressive Care Unit that utilizes a universal bed model to provide flexible patient care.
