Venue Manager

We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Venue Manager at The New Sydney Hotel. This iconic pub is one of the oldest and most frequented in Hobart. Trading 7 days a week, our focus is creating the best atmosphere for every single visitor through the ambience, our service and our food/ drinks offering. You will play a key part in actioning the owner's vision on a day to day basis. The VM would be required to manage our busy restaurant/bistro, manage operations for our many events and maintain the high standards of our FOH team. To be considered for this role: Must have relevant experience in a similar leadership role and/or management qualification. Show great interpersonal and leadership skills Needs a keen eye for detail Provide motivation to staff to offer exceptional customer service Hiring, training staff and performance management Be passionate and enthusiastic Be available to work early morning and evenings (including late nights) weekends and Public Holidays.
