Disability Support Worker

About the role My Premium Care PTY LTD is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in Thomastown, VIC. This part-time role is an integral part of our mission to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them lead fulfilling and independent lives. What you'll be doing Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks Providing emotional support and engaging clients in social, recreational, and educational activities Advocating for clients' rights and needs, and collaborating with their support networks Maintaining accurate records and reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements Participating in team meetings and ongoing training to continuously improve service delivery What we're looking for Relevant qualifications in disability support, community services, or a related field Experience working with individuals with a range of disabilities, including physical, intellectual, and cognitive impairments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients Demonstrated patience, empathy, and problem-solving skills Commitment to promoting client independence, choice, and dignity A current Victorian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (desirable) What we offer At My Premium Care PTY LTD, we are dedicated to supporting our employees' wellbeing and professional development.
