Key Job Details – PACU RN Travel Nursing Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts 01752 Healthcare Setting: Community Hospital – PACU Unit Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/16/2026) Nursing Shift: Day shifts, 5x8-hour (07:00 – 15:30 or 09:30 – 18:00) Hours per Week: 40 Call Requirement: 1 day per week and every 8th weekend (Friday night to Monday morning) Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Orientation: 16 hours Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,270 - $2,330 PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Massachusetts RN license (must be in hand prior to start) BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 3 years of intensive care nursing experience Travel nursing experience required Experience with Epic charting system Previous charge nurse and community hospital experience preferred Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed) Successful completion of orientation modules and pass/fail Tele exam (passing score: 80%) PACU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care for Phase I and II PACU patients Monitor and manage airways, vital signs, and pain levels Administer emergency medications and reversal agents Perform conscious and procedural sedation administration and monitoring Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and post-operative care Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Pharmacy Utilize Epic for accurate documentation and charting Participate in call rotation and provide coverage as scheduled Join our healthcare team in Marlborough, Massachusetts and make a difference in patient care while enjoying the benefits of travel nursing.
