Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Burlington, VT 05401 (Vermont ICU nursing jobs) Unit: M4 MICU (Medical Intensive Care Unit, overflow neuro) Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Dec 1, 2025 – Mar 2, 2026) Shift: 12-hour night shifts Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary: $2050–$2200 Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Orientation: Next available orientation: December 15 ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Registered Nurse) – Vermont or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience in a large, teaching hospital Prior travel nurse experience required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS prior to start) EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required) CCRN certification preferred Proficient in multi-system disease management, CRRT, IAPB, ECMO, COVID care, ventilators, and titrating drips Skilled in IV starts, critical vent care, and managing multiple drips Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (no public transportation available) Vehicle must have all-season or snow tires (November–April) ICU RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in the Medical ICU and overflow neuro units Float to SICU, Miller 3, and Miller 4 as needed Work every other weekend and at least 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day) Initiate IVs, manage titrating drips, and deliver advanced ventilator care Care for critically ill patients with multi-system disease, CRRT, IAPB, ECMO, COVID, and more Document all care in EPIC EMR system Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a fast-paced, academic hospital environment Discover why Burlington, Vermont is a top destination for travel nurses—offering both professional growth and an outstanding lifestyle.
