Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,780 - $1,910 per week Registered Nurse Job Details Location: Memphis, Tennessee (38104) – Tennessee nursing jobs Assignment Length: 13-week travel RN contract Start Date: December 15, 2025 Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:00) Hours per Week: 36 Unit: 8 NORTH, Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) Patient Ratio: 1:6/7 with team nursing Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state (multi-state license) Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience (Med/Surg nursing required) At least 1 completed previous travel nurse assignment Experience in a large hospital and Level I Trauma Center required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (current and valid) Skills: Telemetry, IV start and maintenance, dysrhythmia interpretation and management Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Must reside at least 100 miles from facility (no local candidates) Travel RN experience required Cerner charting experience preferred Registered Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a busy Med/Surg unit Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy Monitor and manage patient conditions, including telemetry and IV therapy Utilize a team nursing approach to maintain optimal patient ratios Float between similar units within a 20-mile radius as needed Participate in on-call and weekend shifts as required Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner or other hospital charting systems Comply with all facility policies, NLC guidelines, and timely submission of time-off requests Apply now to join our healthcare team in Memphis, Tennessee, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
