Key Job Details – Florida Nursing Opportunity Location: Titusville, FL 32796 (Space Coast, Florida) Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Mixed Med/Surg Telemetry & PCU Unit Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/16/2025 – End: 3/17/2026) Shift: Day shifts, 3x12-hour (07:00 – 19:00) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1190 - $1280 per week Patient Ratio: 1:6 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Orientation: Mandatory 5 shifts (36-40 hours first week) Parking: Free in any unrestricted space Scrub Color: Any Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience Active Florida or compact RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (current or willing to obtain) Experience with 1:6 patient ratios in acute care settings Telemetry nursing experience required; cardiac drip experience preferred Rapid Response team and total joint replacement experience required Adult and geriatric patient care experience Ability to float within nursing scope as needed Must reside more than 30 miles from Titusville facility Ability to care for COVID patients Completion of pre-start modules (approx. 4 hours) Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU units Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias Manage cardiac drips (no titration), chest tubes, and CVA cases Administer medications, blood products, and maintain IVs and central lines Participate in Rapid Response and Code teams Care for post-cardiac cath and total joint replacement patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physical therapy, respiratory, pharmacy, social services) Float to other nursing units as needed Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech charting system Follow hospital policies for scheduling, call outs, and holiday coverage Apply now to join our healthcare team in Titusville, Florida!
