Travel Critical Care ICU Nurse - $2,102 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU/CCU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Every other weekend requirement • Holiday coverage required when needed • No call or standby requirements • Patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2 in combined SICU/MICU units • Must have 2 years of ICU experience required • Experience in similar size or larger ICU and hospital preferred • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS • Must be comfortable titrating drips including Dopamine, Epinephrine, Norepinephrine, Cardene, Nitro, Vasopressin, Diltiazem, Insulin, and Esmolol • Care for patients with CABG, CVA, subarachnoid hemorrhage, GI bleeds, DKA, STEMI, septic shock, respiratory failure, and neurosurgery cases • Monitor and read own strips using Spacelabs equipment • Float to other ICUs in the Valley including Meridian Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center • May be assigned as 1:1 sitter outside of ICU when needed • Use Epic charting system • 1-2 shift orientation provided • No specific scrub color or dress code requirements • Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility Facility: This major medical center operates a comprehensive critical care department featuring combined SICU and MICU units with 32 total beds.
