ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Patchogue, New York.Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/01/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work 3x12-hour day shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM • Weekend coverage required, typically 1-2 weekends per month depending on patient volume • On-call duties are not required but optional • Flexibility is essential for this role • Care for patients of all age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Primarily handle vascular, orthopedic, and robotic cases with proficiency required in all three areas • Work in general OR and trauma settings • Experience required with thoracic, endoscopic, general surgery, gynecology, neurology, orthopedic, plastics, podiatry, robotics, urology, and trauma procedures • Operate Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and other robotic surgical equipment • Use Omnicell medication system and EPIC electronic documentation • Work with in-house 24/7 CRNA and anesthesiologist coverage • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, CNOR preferred • Minimum 2-3 years of OR experience required • Community hospital experience required, trauma level 2 experience required • Teaching hospital and trauma level 1 experience preferred • Previous charge experience preferred • Travel experience required • First-time travelers not accepted unless 5 years of OR experience • One pre-approved time-off request per contract • New York license must be in hand or have estimated issue date • Hard copy of license required within 48 hours of signing • Two managerial references required (charge RN not acceptable) Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center that provides advanced surgical services with state-of-the-art technology and equipment.
