Travel Nurse Job Details Location: Peoria, Illinois 61637 Healthcare Setting: Medical Acute Care Unit (General Medical/Surgical) Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026) Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1990 - $2130 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: 3 out of 6 holidays per year Charting System: EPIC Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Illinois RN license or proof of application for Illinois nursing license BLS certification (AHA required) Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to excel in a fast-paced general medical unit Must pass comprehensive drug screening (OSF is a Drug-Free Campus) Med/Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver patient-centered nursing care in a 20-bed general medical/surgical unit Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5/6 during night shifts Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and patient care technicians Monitor patients, including those on telemetry (Phillips monitors; monitor techs available) Float to other hospital units as needed per rotation policy Document patient care using EPIC electronic health record system Participate in weekend and holiday rotations Attend unit-specific orientation and comply with hospital policies Ready to take your nursing career to the next level in Illinois?
