Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: \n RN - ICU \n\n Job Details: \n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM \n• Full-time position with 36 hours per week guaranteed \n• Rotating weekends and holidays required \n• 4 weekend shifts required in a 4-week schedule \n• Patient ratios of 1:3-5 depending on acuity level \n• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS \n• NIHSS certification preferred \n• One shift orientation on unit with preceptor \n• May be required to float to Medical/Surgical unit with ratios of 1:5-6 \n• Work with ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen \n• Manage various drips and cardiac monitoring \n• Use Epic EMR system \n• Care for patients ranging from trauma to surgical cases, COPD, overdoses, and COVID patients \n• Must provide own navy blue scrubs and maintain professional appearance standards \n• Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from facility \n• Positive attitude and willingness to work required \n• 2 shifts per 13-week contract cancellation policy \n\n Facility: \n This healthcare facility features a combined 10-bed SCU/Telemetry unit with 5 ICU beds and 5 telemetry beds. The facility provides comprehensive critical care services with in-house respiratory therapy available 24/7, hospitalist coverage during day hours, and family medicine resident coverage after hours. The unit is equipped with Phillips cardiac monitors, ventilator capabilities, and specialized monitoring equipment to handle a wide range of critical care patients from trauma to complex medical conditions. \n\n Location: \n Ranson, WV \n Ranson offers a strategic location in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, providing easy access to the Washington D.C. metropolitan area while maintaining a small-town atmosphere.
