People Manager - Hambledon Vineyard Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 Hambledon Vineyard, England’s oldest commercial vineyard and a trailblazer in English sparkling wine, is hiring its first-ever People Manager. We are nearing completion a multi-million-pound visitor centre which will be a pivotal part of our hospitality offering at Hambledon. In time we are also planning to develop a boutique accommodation, that will complete our guest experience. The purpose of our first ever People Manager is to build on our existing foundations and developing a pioneering people offer as we continue to grow. You will be supporting the company’s Directors to define and deliver the company’s vision and deliver this through our people. You will actively develop and implement strategic initiatives to review and enhance our current recruitment & retention ensuring more pioneering people join Hambledon as we grow. The ability to think big, but also not to be afraid to ‘roll up your sleeves’. Adopt a pro-active, forward-thinking approach that helps mitigate potential issues before they arise, and encourage a productive, inclusive and positive working environment. Good commercial awareness – able to see the whole business perspective Good knowledge across Human Resources disciplines and their application Excellent time and project management skills Passionate about personal development and learning An understanding of HR/People in hospitality is a real benefit.
