Traditional and modern dishes are available, and guests can dine on the terrace or in the gardens during summer. A range of award-winning beers and wines are available. The surrounding area is famous for its music, poetry and literary festivals. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Breakfast Chef to prepare and serve high-quality breakfast dishes while supporting the kitchen team with food preparation for afternoon and evening service. This role is ideal for someone organised, efficient, and passionate about fresh, well-presented food. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare, cook, and present breakfast dishes to a high standard. * Set up and maintain the breakfast service area, ensuring cleanliness and readiness. * Assist with daily kitchen prep for afternoon and evening menus, including chopping, portioning, and batch cooking. * Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times. * Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to the Head Chef. * Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service throughout the day. Requirements: * Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef or similar role. * Strong organisational and time-management skills. * Ability to work independently during morning service. * Knowledge of food safety standards. * A positive attitude and willingness to support the team across all services.
