Key Job Details – OR RN Travel Assignment Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (Finger Lakes region – New York nursing jobs) Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/9/2024 – End: 3/10/2025) Healthcare Setting: Surgical Services – Operating Room (OR) Shift: 12-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM), call required, block scheduling not guaranteed Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay: $2030 - $2180 Employment Type: Travel nursing, W2 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact RN license Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative nursing) BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred) Strong clinical skills in surgical nursing and patient care Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to participate in on-call rotation as required OR RN Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations in the operating room Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition during perioperative care Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols in compliance with healthcare standards Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures Participate in call rotation and respond to emergent surgical needs as required Why Choose Ithaca, NY for Your Next Nursing Job?
