Job Description Job Description Basic duties -Hiring/firing of all BOH staff including overseeing management of all BOH staff. -Scheduling for all BOH staff through our scheduling app -Training of all BOH staff. You are not required to be the trainer in all situations, but at times, you should use trusted and trained employees to help train new staff for you. This also requires you to be in charge of creating and designing training plans and manuals -Management of POS system in tandem with FOH manager -Oversee to make sure state, local and federal laws are being followed by staff -Menu planning, work with management on these decisions…. -Work the line when needed and when it fits your managerial schedule. -Overseeing cleanliness of kitchen equipment, safety systems and scheduling maintenance and repairs when needed. This includes scheduling monthly/ semi annual inspections -All ordering of Restaurant food and supplies -Food -Linens -Chemicals -Some bar items as well -others -Inventory Management -Manage Food Costs -HR. Some HR duties for your department - You are in charge of daily specials and promotions. -Any other task that will benefit the overall restaurant and resort as we see fit. Requirements- -10 years kitchen experience -3 years managing a kitchen -Consistency across all aspects of business is required. Hours of operation. Food presentation. Recipes. Portion sizes. -Lead by example with ALL staff of resort. Hold yourself to a high standard. -We are a drug and alcohol free establishment when on shift. Please lead by example and join us for a drink (if you’d like) when you’ve clocked off, not during. -You must keep your Managerial serve safe current at all times while employed by Plumas Pines - Work with all departments and employees of Plumas Pines as a team. -Work with management to game plan for a solid business plan to ensure a smooth running operation
