Lean / Mechanical Engineering / Kanban Consultant

Job Description Job Description Lean Systems Consulting is seeking a BS Degreed Engineering Consultant that will support client engagement opportunities in Bloomington, IL. Consultants outside of Bloomington may be considered if client will pay for travel cost (i.e. hotel, meals and mileage). The required skillset for the Engineering Consultant : 1. BS Degreed (i.e. Machinal Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Technology or Operations / Supply Chain / Logistics Degree) 2. Experience Level: Five years plus in a manufacturing environment. 3. Must have data analysis skills in excel (i.e. spc analysis, pivot tables, Vlookup, charting, conditional formatting, pareto analysis, etc) 4. Can provide a case study / PowerPoint slide deck example (at least one of the following): a. Just in Time / Kanban implementation b. Production flow analysis / Production Leveling example c. Inventory reduction analysis example d. Conveyance capacity planning analysis (i.e. how to size a milk run for a AVG, kitting or tugger application) To be considered for either role, the candidate must provide and email to pmarksberry@LeanSystemsConsulting.com the following: 1. A resume (no more than 2 pages) 2. PowerPoint slide deck example of one of the requested materials (no more than 4 pages) If hired, the consultant must be able to: 1. Work up to 10-hrs a day 2. Provide their own laptop with MS Office software 3. Sign the Independent Contactor Agreement. 4.
