Pay Information $2,947 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience required License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP, C-EFM (will accept C-EFM in lieu of Advanced AWHONN) Must-Have: Flexible working weekends Precepting skills preferred Ability to float to mother/baby unit Description: Seeking a strong caregiver for the evening shift. Must be flexible with weekend scheduling. Previous charge experience preferred. Local candidates are accepted. First-time travelers are welcome. Candidates must float between units as required. Must have experience circulating and recovering cesarean sections. Ideal candidates should have skills in telemetry interpretation and newborn care. Candidates must be prepared for a fast-paced environment. Patient ratios for labor patients in active labor is 1:1. For patients in early labor, the ratio is no more than 2:1. Candidates should be familiar with high-risk labor patients and postpartum care. Candidates must possess strong patient management skills. Precepting experience is valued but not required. Compliance with floating policies is expected. Appropriate references will be required prior to start. All travelers are expected to float within the facility. Communication devices may be supplied if required for the assignment. Modules related to the position must be completed before starting the assignment. Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork is essential. Must be prepared to work some holidays as needed. Candidates must provide clear disclosure of any license or background issues upon application. References must cover one year within the last three years.
