Litigation Paralegal

Job Description Job Description Slaughter, Reagan & Cole, LLP, is a mid-size, AV rated, Ventura County business litigation and insurance defense firm located within walking distance from the beach. We maintain a large number of long-standing staff and promote high morale and a good working atmosphere. We are seeking an experienced litigation paralegal who can handle and manage large caseloads from file inception through trial. Our firm regularly prepares and takes cases to trial. The position will include extensive trial preparation and attending court with the attorneys for trial. Ideal candidate is independent, self-motivated and capable of multi-tasking with file deadlines. Preferred candidates will have experience in civil litigation, including preparation for jury trials. This will be a full-time in-office employment position. Ideal candidate will possess: · Applicable paralegal experience · Bachelor’s Degree · Strong work ethic · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Excellent computer skills · Strong writing skills for work including document and deposition summarization · Professional demeanor, common sense problem solving and can-do attitude This position has a salary range of $80,000.00 to $95,000.00, with benefits (401K, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life), and a performance bonus structure.
