Business Analyst / Technical Product Owner

Overview Xplore Group Spain is expanding its team of experienced professionals across Spain, Belgium, and the Netherlands. The company specializes in Java and PHP solution delivery and has grown from 600 to 1,800 employees in three years. What you will be doing You will join an international squad, collaborating across borders with teammates in Spain, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Your responsibilities include: Gathering, analyzing, and refining business requirements and translating them into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. Working closely with the client and development teams using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to deliver high‑quality solutions. Ensuring product alignment with business goals by validating deliverables through continuous feedback, testing, and data‑driven insights. Managing development progress, release coordination, and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities. Contributing to the expansion and onboarding of our statistics visualization platform (Posit Connect) and supporting secure data‑sharing solutions for large, sensitive datasets. Qualifications Fluent in English (written and spoken, C1 level or higher). Proven experience in business analysis and requirements definition for internal web applications. Strong background in ICT, web application architecture, APIs, and data flows. Experience with Agile/Scrum, backlog management, release coordination, and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Good understanding of front‑end, back‑end, databases, cloud, REST/GraphQL, and API design. Basic SQL and data validation skills. Familiarity with UX principles and digital product lifecycles. Awareness of data privacy and security standards (GDPR, access control). Nice to Have SQL data querying experience. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Containerization concepts (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience in regulated industries such as pharma or finance.
