Sustaining Engineer (Mobile Access Management) – Mexico Are you passionate about solving complex technical challenges, diving deep into code, and improving products used by thousands of clinicians around the world? About the Role As a Sustaining Engineer , you’ll be the technical backbone behind our Mobile Access Management (MAM) platform. You’ll investigate customer-reported issues, develop fixes, address security vulnerabilities, and collaborate closely with QA, mobile engineers, and product teams. Your work will directly improve the daily workflow of clinical users across global healthcare organizations. What You’ll Do Troubleshoot and resolve escalated customer issues related to authentication, security, mobile access, and workflow enablement. Analyze defects, scope solutions, and deliver high-quality fixes within an Agile/Scrum or Kanban team. Collaborate with QA to validate new vendor releases and ensure ongoing compatibility with APIs and integrations. Design and develop unit and automated tests focusing on high-risk areas. Implement and test components in Java, Swift, Kotlin, or C++ , across mobile, client, or server-side architectures. Work closely with tech leads and managers to prioritize improvements and refine sustaining processes. What You Bring 1–2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Sustaining Engineer, or advanced Help Desk/Support Engineer (L2/L3). Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Experience with Visual C++, Win32 APIs , and one or more OS: macOS, Windows, Linux . Hands-on experience with Java, Swift, Kotlin, or C++ (willingness to learn others). Understanding of the full software development lifecycle. Advanced English level. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Location Guadalajara (Hybrid scheme).
