Pay Information $2,113 per week About The Position Job Title: RN Psych Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatric Psychiatry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years at one location/hospital License: Current Registered Nurse License in Massachusetts Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must-Have: Trauma-informed care, patient-centered approach, and strong verbal de-escalation skills. Description: Pediatric Psychiatry RN Nights, working 36 hours per week, including weekends. Inpatient program serving patients ages 3 to 17 years who require an inpatient stay. The unit offers a nurturing and non-coercive environment for children and adolescents. The RN to patient ratio is 1 to 3, allowing for individualized care. The patient population consists of children ages 4-18. The bed count is 30, with a census ranging from 20 to 25 patients. Experience using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is necessary. Floating to other behavioral health areas within the unit may be required.
