Job Description

This position is located in Blue Ridge Parkway in the Maintenance & Engineering Division. This is an open continuous vacancy announcement. Applicants will be referred periodically throughout the announcement period. Final application disposition will be completed once all positions have been filled or the announcement reaches the end of the open period stated in the announcement. This Job Announcement is for a temporary position not-to-exceed 1039 regular hours with a FULLTIME work schedule.

Job Requirements

All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement-06/01/2024-unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement. Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. To receive credit for experience, your resume MUST clearly indicate the nature of the duties and responsibilities for each position, starting and ending dates of employment (month/year), and the resume must reflect full and/or part-time or total number of hours worked (i.e., work 40+ hours a week, rather than indicating full-time). To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors: Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision (SCREEN OUT) Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation Repair, etc. Technical Practices Use of Measuring Instruments Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Knowledge of materials If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT factor above is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration.
