Employer Description A well-known and established Mediterranean Restaurant brand serving Upmarket and Quality Lunch and Dinner to its patrons. Emphasis on well prepared Seafood as well as other Mediterranean fare. Two stores located in JHB, one near Edenvale and one near Sandton and two Restaurants located in the West Rand/Lanseria/Centurion regions. The brand is also opening restaurants in the Middle East in the next year so there is real international growth potential as well. Job Description Our Client seeks quality Restaurant Chefs for their Restaurants within their Brands. From Junior to Executive Chef level with strong Menu Development, Creative Flair and a passion for making and presenting good quality food. The brand has a store near Edenvale and one in Sandton and two operational in the Lanseria area. Duties will depend on the level of seniority with Menu Development and Creativity as well as consistent production at the forefront as operationally all the restaurants run well. Experience as a Chef within a finer dining full-service restaurant environment is required. Will assist with Menu planning and design, creating new dishes, Preparing new and existing recipes and dishes to perfection, Assisting with Kitchen Hygiene and Maintenance, and working with the existing teams well in Food Production and presentation. Skills We are open to receiving CVs of Junior and senior Chefs. Chefs must be willing to work longer and irregular hours that the restaurant industry demands in the evenings and over weekends.
