Tasting Room Assistant - Riebeek Kasteel

Our client is in search of a Tasting Room Manager for their Wine Lounge. The successful candidate is an energetic, independent and highly driven individual, with good interpersonal and proven leadership skills. Duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to ): Manage and ensure a professional, efficient, and warm guest experience Uphold and share the passion and knowledge of the brand and offerings i,e wine and olive products to clients Manage stock takes, bookings and cash-ups Ensure all guest queries are handled professionally and promptly Adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures Motivate team to meet sales goals and targets Manage opening and closing procedures Attend shows, events, and other brand representation requirements All other tasks related to this position Essential qualifications, skills and experience: Minimum 2-years hospitality management experience; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Impeccable attention to detail, multitasking and planning abilities; Ability to work every 2nd weekend, public holidays as per industry requirements; Must have creative problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. Commencement Date: As soon as possible.
