Let’s make a difference together Learn more about us by visiting www.caatpension.ca The Pension Education Specialist is integral to the success of the Communications team, and to CAAT’s guiding mission and growth strategy. In this role you will help members understand the features and value of their CAAT pension by delivering energetic, engaging member learning sessions, both online and in person. We are looking for someone with: Undergraduate degree or college diploma in communications, adult education, journalism, arts, or related field. 3-5 years’ experience delivering education to adults in work settings. Experience delivering adult education. Analytical skills are required, as well as attention to detail, a mathematical aptitude, excellent problem solving and time management skills. Proficient with using PowerPoint and Excel. Pension experience, especially with defined benefit plans is an asset. Experience in adult learning and delivering engaging presentations is a must. Willingness and ability to travel both within Ontario and across Canada, including access to a vehicle and a current driver’s licence valid in Ontario. The successful candidate will demonstrate: Excellent ability to explain complex subjects simply and clearly. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with a varied audience. Outstanding public speaking and written communication skills. Ability to interact well with members and employers at different levels. Strong work ethic and enthusiasm for learning and putting new concepts into practice. Fluency in French is nice to have. Once here you will: Deliver member online and on-site presentations to members across the country. Participate in pension education/member one-on-one sessions as requested. As part of a team, create engaging learning sessions that help members understand ‘what a big deal’ their pensions are. Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate the development and delivery of member presentation content, including existing sessions, and new sessions. Ensure all presentation materials are up-to-date based on current information, rates, legislative and Plan requirements. Work with the broader Communication teams to develop support materials for on-site member sessions. Establish a thorough understanding of Plan provisions and be able to explain them simply and clearly. If you meet most of the criteria above, we would love to connect with you.
